The meeting of us is like the contact of two chemical substances: if there is any reaction, both are transformed. i don't have a list of qualities that i see in a partner, cos i understand that every individual is different, and setting expectations for partners simply closes most of my choices. though there's no expectations, i do have preferences. i don't need my partner to live the same as i do. well, what else is love but understanding and rejoicing in the fact that another person lives, acts, and experiences otherwise than we do? apart from the default qualities of a typical relationship, i'd like mine to be telling me my faults when she sees them. not that i will change for her, but to be a better man.
